This work is “The Courtship of Miles Standish" by Henry W. Longfellow. This was printed by M.A. Donahue circa 1900-1909 and "Illustrated by Eminent Artists". Of course with Miles Standish this is a Plymouth Colony/Pilgrim early America themed poem which takes up the first 151 pages. The rest of the book (86 pages) has more of his much shorter poems - averages about 1 a page. This is a nice decorative piece a well.
This work is app. 7.5”x5” . It has cloth covered hard-boards with decorations. It is in very good condition overall with a little corner, edge, spine end wear and bumping.
