This charming old book is a circa 1900 edition of Thackeray's "Vanity Fair: A Novel Without A Hero". This has soft black leather covers with gold gilt cover, edges, marbled end pages, and decorative gilt spine. It has an illustrated frontispiece and a ribbon attached for marking one's place. This was published by Thomas Nelson and the first book in their Works of William Makepeace Thackeray.
This book is app. 6.5"x4.5" with 784 pages. This is in very good condition overall with some corner, edge, wear and bumping to the covers. The binding is tight and all pages intact. The book is complete. The inside is clean and there are no offensive odors.
