This amazingly dramatic aviation RAF edition print commemorates and pays tribute to the pilots and crews from the R.A.F. who flew the formidable Mosquito Fighter Bombers in combat during WWII. "Rangers on the Rampage" dramatically brings to life a Mosquito attack on a German fighter station deep inside of Germany. It is one of the three in the highly restricted series of Commemorative Editions which are individually hand signed by distinguished British, Australian, New Zealand and Canadian aircrew who flew with the RAF during WWII. " The artist is Robert Taylor, the world's most collected aviation artist. The image is 31.75" by 23.5", in unused mint condition. It is numbered 343/400. We do not have the companion print. We do have the COA and the original brochure.
The print is hand signed in pencil by Air Marshal Sir Ivor Broom K.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., D.F.C. A.F.C; by Squadron Leader T.J. 'Tommy' Broom D.F.C.; by Squadron Leader Terry Kearns D.S.O., D.F.C., D.F.M.; by Squadron Leader Charles Patterson D.S.., D.F.C.; and Air Commodore E.B. 'Ted' Sismore D.S.O., D.F.C., A.F.C.
