Dating late 19th century this little cabinet vase is unsigned as most early Satsuma pottery was pre McKinley import laws that required Nippon then Japan, then Made in Japan. It is in perfect scale to the larger vases, made for special gifts to be displayed as a cabinet miniature. It is hand enameled and hand painted featuring a Geisha or Beautiful Woman on one side and lovely Iris on the other side. It is in very fine condition with no damage, measuring 2.5" high and approx. 1.75" in diameter at the widest.
