Such a lovely pattern, so beautifully designed, the relief violets flow down the the stems of each utensil. Marked with the trademark of R Wallace & Sons, the Violet pattern was patented in 1904. The set consists of a dinner fork, salad/dessert fork, soup/cream soup spoon, teaspoon, individual butter (all sterling) and a dinner knife with stainless blade. All in very fine condition as pictured, this is a lovely pattern to collect or a full place setting for those who like to mix patterns. The full sterling pieces way 166.4 grams, the knife with sterling handle and stainless blade weighs 66.4 grams. Individually purchased from sterling match sites set is over $350.
