3 Antique Art Deco elegant Small Bar Pins. Bar Pin Brooches of this size were called lace pins as they were used to attach scarves and lace fichu (fine lace that usually sat at the opening of the bosom for beauty and modesty). The largest is an exquisite green and white luminous guilloche enameled Bar Pin (small brooch). It is 1.5" long. The second is a delicate blue and white luminous guilloche enameled bar pin. It measures 1.25" long. The 3rd is a pretty white enameled with bronze gold measuring .75".
The metal is gold plated, with silver metal bar catches of the type with dates late 19th century to the 1920's. The condition is very fine on all three bar pins. These were part of my mother's hand picked antique jewelry collection that she purchased over the years to accent her antique and designer doll's dresses. Many of these dolls are in Yesterday's Babies part of the historic Powell County Prison
museum in Deer Lodge Montana.
