Delicate for white ironstone, this pretty petite footed deep serving dish is Rococo Revival Circa 1840-1860s. The white ironstone pristine white is enhanced with the high embossed leaf design and the pretty handles. The mark is engraved, the company T&R Boote Potteries,, "Atlantic Shape". The handles are pierced. It is beautifully pristine in the early blue white color that was achieved by adding cobalt to the clay. The company was in business from 1842-1863. It is in fine condition except for a small under rim chip as pictured. The ironstone petite serving dish measures 8.75" by 7.25".
