This group of Art Deco and Western (Forestry) dance cards include ball, event and dace cards. There are 6 dating from a high school senior prom in 1928 to 1932. They are in very fine condition as pictured and are as follows:
1. Light gray leather (some foxing) is a 1928 Senior East High Prom, May 5th, with music by Hume Everett and his Orchestra with Class and faculty information and message poem to the Seniors. The fine inner textured tissue paper is intact and fine condition.
2. Superb wooden Paddle dance card from the Delta Sigma Epsilon Pledge Dance. It features a beautiful Mother of Pearl Abalone Shell accent. The back is printed in green showing the Patronesses, Faculty Advisor, Actives, and the names of the Pledges. This beautiful done wooden paddle is not dated. It has the Dance order fully filled with names. A wonderful and unique date dance card.
3.and 4. Are the 2nd annual Foresters Ball and the 3rd annual Foresters Ball 1931 and 1932. , Colorado Agricultural College with great graphics and inner frontis pages.
5. An event dance card Mid Winter Formal dance of the Alpha Sigma of Phi Kappa Tau with great graphic "even Gov'nor"
6. This dance card is deep purple leather, the Spring Formal Dinner Dance, Gamma Pi Zeta of Cambda Chi Alpha. It was held at the Denver Colorado Country Club, May 11, 1928. Bob Wilson and his Band were featured music. The dance card includes a menu, dance card sheets, dignitaries, etc. Wonderful group of days gone by memorabilia.
