This antique Circa 1880-1900 Victorian period ornament is a hand blown and decorated German glass mercury ball. It is a nice large size, in wonderful original condition with wire intact. These early ornaments are so scarce, so fragile, so beautiful. This German hand blown antique ornament measures approximately 4" in diameter and 5" long at the stem and cap. Beautiful!

This and the other ornaments we are offering come from a San Francisco lifetime major collection. The German glass ornaments were blown extremely thin walled and are very fragile, thus few remain. They were highly treasured at the time and passed down from generation to generation. This collection is quite spectacular and we are proud to offer it.
