Classic 3rd Quarter to later 19th Century this petite and exquisite small porcelain tray is unmarked German in my opinion, classic of the period and of very high quality. Crimped and Rococo in form, bursting with bunches of delicate roses, beautifully accented with green shading, gold and enameled beading, this small tray qualifies as a cabinet miniature. It is truly lovely and would be appropriate for a cabinet display piece or a miniature platter for a dollhouse or child's size platter. It was probably a dainty vanity or trinket tray. In excellent condition with no damage, it measures 5.5" by 3.5" by approximately 1" inch high at the flared scalloped rim.
