This beautiful American Brilliant Period Cut Glass matched pair of hand blown handled bowls (called Nappies) have crystal clear heavy blanks and deeply cut brilliant geometric cuts. The motif is pinwheel, fan, and hobstar with deep intersecting versicas. The blown applied handles are heavy and clear with no annealing lines. The one nappy bowl is in fine condition with no tooth damage, just very minor use imperfections that careful examination revealed. The one nappy has a very small chip on the bottom of the cut base. The other nappy has one very minor tooth tip chip and one small flake found in the base. The diameter of each is 5 7/8 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches high at the handle. I did not find a signature on either which was common for the period with companies doing varied amounts of signings. From the pinwheel motifs the nappy cut bowls date Circa1910-1915.
