This fold out original 1889 Exposition Map of the Province of Oran Alger by A. Jourdan is in the form when folded of a booklet. It is canvas backed with the map mounted to the canvas. The Title of the Map reads: `Carte Des Etapes De La Province D' Oran Publiee Par (Published by) A. Jourdan Liraire-Editeur Alger 1899'. The Map has a Legend in the lower left hand corner and fine coloring. It has some foxing and has some lifting from the original canvas. It should probably be carefully lifted from the canvas and conservation mounted to protect it from further foxing. The canvas is intact except for one section edge that has split. The front exterior displays a Title page and the back page features advertisements. A very scarce and fine map measuring 19.5 by 17".
