This lovely Georgian blue & white Staffordshire England Pearlware Transferware is very early, unmarked, circa 1790-1810. It is in the classic late 18th Century classic urn form with high arched handle and pour spout. The floral design is also classic of the period with fruit on one side and flowers on the other. It is in rich deep blues on stark pristine white, the form is exquisite.
This Staffordshire Pottery Transferware teapot is in very fine condition. It has typical factory flaws consistent with the period. The interior rim under the teapot finial topped lid, has some minor rim roughage which we have pictured for you. The spout is totally intact but has very small glaze wear as pictured. Otherwise excellent condition. The blue and white transferware teapot measures 7" high by approximately 11" wide from handle to spout. A very scarce period antique in this fine of condition. Absolutely lovely.
