We are offering you a mixed set of old Thai Bronze flatware. A very large bronze ladle with rosewood detail, and a small knife which is marked "Thailand" and a very old tiny fork that is unmarked. (The beautiful ladel is also unmarked and earlier). The ladle measures 9.5", the knife 6" and the old fork 4".
Also offered is an old set in its original old box which are 5th century hand made heirloom replicas made by S. Nazir Hussain & Co. Lahore (W. Pakistan). The interior of the box notes: ..utensils used during the 5th Century B.C. -5th Century A.D. in Taxila (Pakista)...depicting the art & culture of seven different and successively dominating civilizations...." They are superbly detailed bronze with lovely patina and measure a petite 4.5-5". They polish beautifully with a soft polishing cloth and dish soap.
The detail is very fine and the bronze has a lovely patina. They are all solid and again, should not be confused with the typical Thai flatware that is common.
