This antique Masonic fob will make an excellent addition to any York Rite collection! The high karat piece is is circa 1859, and is constructed from 18k yellow gold. The Keystone's face is etched with eye-catching detailing. The center showcases a Star of David emblem, which is surrounded by a border which reads Cyrus Chapter No. 15, YREKA?. A larger border is seen engraved with the letters KSHTWSST?. Elegant flourishes grace the top and bottom of the center design, and the top corners are engraved, L.C.O. to J.M.R. The back of the pendant or fob is engraved with the inscription, J. Madison Robinson, Initiated Sept. 18, 1856, Raised Dec. 15, 1856, Exalted June 3, 1859. Ornate, filigree designs have been carved into the four corners of the face, adding a sophisticated touch to this handsome piece! This fob has a smooth, polished finish, and is in wonderful condidtion considering it age! There is some light surface wear and scratching, as can be expected with any antique piece. The large top bail is hinged, allowing it to move back and forth, and this piece has been professionally tested for its 18k gold purity composion. This vintage piece is a perfect way to showcase your Masonic affiliation, and would also make a perfect gift for a fellow member!
