This antique Elgin watch has black Roman numerals printed on a white face with Elgin Nat'l Watch Co written above the center of the dial and beautiful blue hands. There is a sunk seconds register at the base with black Arabic numbers. Please note, there is some chipping around the edge of the seconds register. The crystal has some light surface wear, as can be expected with a piece of this age. The inside of the back case is stamped Keystone Watch Case 4440564, and the inside of the dust cover is stamped J. Boss Guaranteed 25 Years, 4440564. The movement is stamped 886061 TW, Adjusted, H.H. Taylor, Patent Pinion. The back case no longer snaps securely shut, but it does remain closed. The case has a polished finish with an engravable crest in the front which is perfect for your personalized monogram! Please note, there is surface wear on the case. This piece is running well and keeping time on my bench, but is not guaranteed.
