This Art Deco collar brooch would make a great addition to a collection of vintage jewelry. Fashioned in platinum and 18k white gold, this elongated bar brooch from the 1920’s features a filigreed trellis adorned with a European cut natural diamond. An open port behind the diamond allows light to flow through the stone for enhanced brilliance and sparkle. The navy blue enamel that once outlined the edges of the trellis has largely worn off over the years, but vestiges can be seen in places. The brooch fastens from the back with a long pin and levered clasp, which bears the metal purity stamps. In very good vintage condition, this brooch will delight a collector.
