Edwardian Era Sapphire & Seed Pearl Brooch - 14k Yellow Gold Genuine 1.04ctw
This exquisite antique brooch would make wonderful addition to a collection of treasures from yesteryear! Crafted in classic 14k yellow gold, this Edwardian piece dates from circa 1900?s-1910?s, when the reign of Britain?s forward-looking King Edward VII brought a welcome change from the staid Victorian Era. Possibly used as a collar adornment, this brooch is a long, open-framed bar adorned with genuine sapphires and seed pearls. The sapphires and the pearls are arranged in graduated order of size with the largest gems in the center and tiny pearls embellishing the pointed ends of the brooch. Open ports on the underside of the brooch allow light to flow freely through the sapphires to accentuate their violetish-blue color. A 14k stamp on the brooch?s lever-style clasp verifies the piece?s gold purity. In excellent condition, this exquisite brooch will delight anyone who cherishes vintage jewelry!
