Cherish a beautiful piece of history with this antique ring! This is a Georgian Period ring dating back to the 1830?s - 1840?s, the beginning of Great Britain?s glory days and the United States? Antebellum Era. Created in 10k yellow gold, the ring features seven (7) natural diamonds. The rose-cut diamonds carry a combined .61 carat total weight and form a rosette pattern gracing the face of the ring. With the center diamond slightly larger than its six companions, the gems are prong-set in a open cut-work design that allows light to flow freely through the stones to enhance their brilliance and sparkle. Black embossing on the scallops encircling the diamonds provides a visually-appealing contrast to the glow of the yellow gold setting. Some wear on the black embossing is typical of vintage pieces and does not detract from the beauty of the ring. Reprising the floral theme, the sides of the ring are adorned with tendrils, stems, and blooms fashioned in textured and beaded gold before tapering into a smoothly polished shank. This beautiful ring is in very good condition and would make a wonderful gift for someone who loves history. The 10k gold purity composition has been professionally tested and verified.
