This Victorian era fashion ring dates circa 1870's to 1880's and features a stunning cameo design! The ring showcases the genuine onyx gemstone in a multi-prong setting. The onyx has a rich, black color and is carved with a cameo portrait. The cameo depicts a woman facing left. The woman is detailed with curly hair and wearing an elaborate hat. She has delicate facial features and has her dress draped around her neckline. Both sides of the band are accented by a fluted pattern, while the shank has a tapered with. The 9k gold setting has a slightly rosy hue and a polished finish. It is constructed with a solid back for a comfort fit. While not stamped, the ring has been professionally tested for it's 9k gold purity composition.
This ring weighs 8.5 grams. The face measures 13/16" (20.9mm) tall and has a table height of 3/16" (4.7mm).
