This stunning Knights Templar and Scottish Rite Masonic Fob is a masterful work of vintage craftsmanship. The double headed eagle has amazing detail and a genuine .22ct mine cut diamond in the center. This SI3 Clarity J Color diamond is securely bezel set. Above is a 32 on a black enameled triangle. This center emblem rests atop a black and red enameled cross.
The reverse side displays the Knights Templar emblem of a cross and crown with the slanted cross done in red enamel and the crown bearing a black stripe. This is set atop a field of emanating rays enclosed with a white belt that reads In Hoc Signo Vinces. There is the slightest of enamel issue on the bottom right of the white enamel as shown in the enlarged photographs. The outer arms of the cross are done in black enamel.
This very hefty fob is not a folding fob as many of this style are, but is a solid well-built piece with a very nice heft. The sturdy bail at the top has a twisted subtle floral design. This would be a fine addition to a vintage watch chain, a pendant on a necklace or at home in a high end collection.
This badge weighs 24 grams. The piece measures 1 13/32" (35.6mm) tall including the stationary bail and 1 1/8" (28.8mm) wide.
We guarantee this piece to be 14k gold as tested. It has not been cleaned in order to maintain it's original vintage integrity. Please check out the enlarged pictures.
