This great fraternity badge features a crescent framing a star. The crescent is encrusted with genuine natural emeralds and seed pearls in an alternating pattern. It bares the black enameled symbols of crossed skeleton keys, a skull and cross bones and crossed swords atop a textured background. The star is accented by a genuine ruby in each arm, as well as a circle of emeralds and seed pearls in it's center. The emeralds and seed pearls frame the Greek letters, Kappa Sigma, in the center of the star. The surface of the star is done in black and white enameling. The piece is ported to allow light to shine on each of the gemstones. The bottom of the badge is engraved W.O.U. Gamma Tau M401. The back of the badge is fitted with a pin and clasp and a Gamma Tau chapter guard is attached.
This badge weighs 3.4 grams. The piece measures 1/2" (12.9mm) long and 17/32" (13.3mm) wide.
