This vintage Scottish Rite ring dates circa 1920's - 1930's. It is very well made and features a bold design! The face ring of the ring features a double headed eagle set atop black enameled rays. The double headed eagle is detailed with engraved feathers, facial features, and feet. Both sides of the band are accented by an enameled Masonic symbol. The right side of the band features a Rose Croix, while the left band features a 32 inside of a black triangle. The black enameled accents on the ring have a rich, bold color and are in very good condition. The Rose Croix is accented in red, green, and white enamel. There is some very slight enamel loss at the bottom of the Rose Croix. The ring is designed with a solid back making it very comfortable to wear. The inside of the band is stamped with a 14k gold purity stamp. This is a great looking, high quality piece that is an excellent investment!
This ring weighs 12.9 grams. The face measures 9/16" (14.6mm) tall, the table height of the ring is 5/32" (4mm) and the base of the shank measures 7/32" (5.6mm).
