A vintage engagement ring is a wonderful way to affirm the time-honored values of true love and lifetime commitment. Dating from the 1920’s-1930’s, this Art Deco ring by Goldfarb and Friedburg is crafted in high purity 18k white gold and features a natural diamond solitaire and two synthetic sapphires. Four corner-style prongs hold the Old Mine Cut diamond securely in place in a raised mounting that allows light to flow through the stone for enhanced brilliance and sparkle. The lab-created sapphires are trilliant cut and have a navy blue color that contrasts beautifully with the white fire of the diamond solitaire. The milgrain borders around the sapphires and the wheat chain detailing on the exterior of the band reveal the ring’s Art Deco provenance and the skill of the designer. The interior of the smoothly polished shank bears a 18k gold purity stamp as well as Goldfarb & Friedburg’s “Bluite” hallmark. In excellent condition, this vintage ring will delight your bride to be!
