If you love jewelry from yesteryear, you will be enchanted with this Victorian ring! Dating from the era when Great Britain’s Queen Victoria ruled an ever-expanding empire and European superpowers vied for supremacy in Africa and Asia, this piece features eight (8) golden-hued natural diamonds. The ring is comprised of a 14k yellow gold band and a sterling silver face. The rose cut diamonds form a rosette around a larger rose cut solitaire diamond adorning the face of the ring. Bordered in a sterling silver bezel, the diamonds carry a combined .60 carat total weight, VS1 - SI2 clarity, and a light brown color, as defined on the Argyle Color Scale. Open ports on the undersides of the diamonds allow light to flow freely through the stones for enhanced brilliance and sparkle. Two narrow bands support each side of the face before merging into a smoothly polished and contoured shank. A 14k stamp inside the shank verifies the band’s gold purity composition. Please note that the ring is in very good condition, but has not been cleaned in order to preserve its vintage patina.
This ring weighs 3.6 grams. The face measures 1/2" (12.3mm) tall, and it has a table height of 5/32" (4.0mm).
