This year give her the gift of time! This vintage Granat watch dates from the Art Deco Era, circa 1930?s - 1940?s, an age that celebrated innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship, qualities beautifully displayed in this piece. Adorned with natural diamonds, the watch case and winding stem are fashioned from 900 platinum, a precious metal highly prized for its strength and enduring beauty. The face of the watch is a brushed antique gold with the hand mechanism, numbers, minute marks, and the word Granat presented in contrasting black. Some scratches on the face are typical of previously loved pieces. Bordered in gleaming platinum, prong-set diamonds outline the face of the watch and embellish a series of geometric shapes that connect the watch to the band. Altogether, the single cut diamond accents and the two round brilliant cut diamonds inset in diamond-shaped frames leading to the band carry an impressive 1.08 carat total weight, VS1 - VS2 clarity, and H - I color. A band comprised of doubled black cord and white gold-toned crimps fastens with a fold-over clasp of 14k white gold. An accompanying gold-toned safety chain connects the ends of the band to provide extra security. On the underside of the clasp, 14k stamps verify its gold purity composition while professional testing attests to the platinum composition of the watch case. In very good condition, this heirloom-quality watch is sure to delight your special someone!
