This gorgeous ring would make a great gift for someone who loves vintage jewelry! Fashioned in high purity 18k white gold, this Art Deco piece dates from circa 1920-1930’s, an era that celebrated innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship. The face of the ring features nine (9) natural diamonds and eight (8) synthetic sapphires. Three old European cut diamonds set vertically in a frame of beaded white gold take pride of place in the center of the ring, while six smaller single cut diamonds adorn a filigreed trellis that flows onto the band. Altogether the diamonds have .24 carat total weight, VS1 - VS2 clarity, and G - H color. Open ports on the underside of the trellis allow light to flow through the stones for enhanced brilliance and sparkle. Two diagonally-placed bands of synthetic sapphires add an eye-catching contrast to the white fire of the diamonds. The channel-set synthetic sapphires carry .32 total carat weight and a lovely midnight-blue color. A beautiful example of Art Deco creativity, the band’s exterior surface is adorned with an eye-catching wheat chain pattern. The interior of the shank is smoothly polished and bears an 18k gold purity stamp. In excellent condition, this vintage ring is sure to please!
