An artistic bride-to-be will be delighted with this vintage engagement ring! Dating from the Art Deco Era circa 1920’s-1930’s, this lovely piece is crafted in high purity 18k white gold and features a natural diamond solitaire. The face of the ring showcases a raised mounting with a starburst design around a round cut diamond of .03 carat weight, SI1 clarity, and H color. The prong-set diamond is centered in a scalloped illusion mounting that reflects light to give the stone the appearance of larger size. For enhanced brilliance and sparkle, an open port on the underside of the diamond allows light to flow freely through the stone. An intricate trellis wrapping around the solitaire and flowing onto the shoulders of the ring reveals the piece’s Art Deco provenance and the creativity of the designer. The ring’s shank is smoothly polished on both the interior and exterior surfaces and contoured for a comfortable fit. An 18k stamp inside the band verifies the ring’s gold purity composition and a maker’s mark identifies the designer. In excellent condition, this vintage engagement ring is a wonderful way to carry forward the time-honored values of true love and commitment.
