If you love cameos, you will adore this vintage ring! This piece dates from the Victorian Era when Queen Victoria of Great Britain presided over a wide-flung empire upon which, it was said, the sun never set.The ring is fashioned in 12k yellow gold and features a small carved banded agate and the cameo of a woman. Serenely gazing into the future, the alabaster-white image contrasts beautifully with the gleaming black background. A headband encircles the woman’s hair, which is adorned with a rolled scarf that flows from the crown of her head and around her neckline. A rope design adorns the shoulders of the mounting, alternating with bands of polished gold as the sides of the ring taper into a smoothly polished and contoured shank. Professionally tested in our laboratory to verify the 12k gold purity composition, the interior of the band contains a maker’s mark. This exquisite Victorian ring is in excellent condition and would make a wonderful addition to a collection of vintage jewelry.
