This antique Keystone Masonic fob dates circa 1890's to 1900's. One side features KSHTWSST in gold letters on a field of white enamel with decoration above and below. An engraved hand is displayed in the center of the Keystone. The hand is depicted holding a cone shape set with a .07 carat ruby at it's tip. It's difficult to interpret what this image exactly represents but may be a paint brush. The other side of the fob is engraved with the inscription S. C. Sturmer Tehama Lodge No 3 F. & A.M. Lac. Chapter No 3 R.A.M. The fob is framed with a flat raised border that is perfect for engraving and personalization on the sides. The top has a decorative structure and bail. This would make a nice fob on a watch chain, pendant on a necklace, charm on a large bracelet or would be at home in a fine fraternal collection.
This fob weighs 4.7 grams. The piece measures 1 3/32" (27.6mm) long and 25/32" (19.5mm) wide.
