Kronthaler stoneware bottle from Germany #110. The German Mineral Water Jug probably contained carbonated mineral water found in the Volcanic Eifel of Germany near Bonn and Trier. These stoneware jugs were made in the late 1800's to bottle the water. Each mineral spring would stamp their jugs with the name of the spring. This jug has the stamp. This jug measures approx. 11-1/2" x 3 1/2". It has been painted gold and has red Poppies on it which are pretty much been rubbed off. The jug is in good condition with some chips but is not cracked!
