Stereoview Cards Set of 2 Ingersoll
Set of 2 cards in a series by TW Ingersoll
47 (a) "Idle Hours with His Summer Girl" 48 (b) "Oh, Some One Is Coming"
Ingersoll cards were cheaper — flat "litho prints " he called "reproduction " views. This type of stereograph became common after 1898 and, be- cause it was simply run off on a commercial press, could be sold for next to nothing. Sears, Roebuck's 1908 catalog offered 100 such views for eighty-five cents. For $1.00 you could have the 100 views plus a stereoscope.
