This is a vintage silver-plated lemon/tea strainer with wooden handle by Paye & Baker Manufacturing Co. The strainer has embossed design decorating the spout, opening and on the base. Inside is an enclosed screen to strain any liquid passing through the funneled area of the spoon and into the mouth. The inventor of this spoon was H.E. Nock. The strainer spoon is about 6 1/2" L (with handle) x 3"W . It is stamped Patent 1917, P & B and Sheffield. This piece is in good vintage condition with normal age wear. It is in estate auction condition and the silver has not been cleaned.
