Although this adorable clear jelly belly elephant pin is unmarked, it is by Coro. The size being 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” doesn’t permit the pin to be marked. It is also the reason why this particular jelly belly pin is so rare. It would have been very easily lost. Adolph Katz was the designer with the Design Patent no. 157975, issued in his name April 4, 1950. The gold tone pin is in excellent condition, including its clear jelly belly. Note that the rider’s body is a clear aqua blue sparkling rhinestone, with the face being a perfectly clear rhinestone. The back has a pin and roll over locking clasp that functions as it should. This is a Happy Elephant, with his upturned trunk for good luck. This adorable pin is a great example of the well-known phrase “good things come in small packages.” If you collect rare jelly belly pins, this will make an excellent contribution for your collection. It is also fun to wear and is fully guaranteed to meet all of your expectations. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for taking time to view this offering.
