Rare Clapsaddle Renaissance Christmas Celebration Postcard
This Fox & Co. Christmas postcard, designed by Ellen Clapsaddle, depicts exceptional graphics of Renaissance dressed characters celebrating Christmas. The period gowns worn by the women are colorful and have great style. The young man carries a lantern to light the way and tips his hat. The foursome may be caroling for onlookers. The dramatic dark green background shows trees and the sky realistically. The postcard’s graphics are spectacular, very unique for Ellen Clapsaddle and the postcard is a rare find in Excellent condition.
