This used postcard is postmarked “1815”—a mistake the postal clerk made. It should read 1915. The postcard depicts Santa Claus being very quiet in the presence of the youngsters fast asleep in their bed. He has a sack full of toys, but the green stockings on the fireplace are still empty. Santa is just beginning his work which he hopes will be a surprise. He is shushing someone or something (maybe a pet) to be sure silence isn’t interrupted. The corners are rounded and there is a crease on the left lower corner. The condition is VG+.
