This gorgeous Kestner 15 1/2” bisque shoulder head doll is an early 166 model, marked only “6” which dates her to the turn of the century or earlier. She has her original extra clean kid leather body with cloth lower legs. She is a desirable cabinet size of 15 1/2” and has the following value points: thick finely feathered brows, original brown glass fixed eyes, tiny painted lashes, a perky nose and an open mouth with a smile that show four upper teeth. Her perfect plaster pate is still attached to her head & shows no sign of ever having been removed. The head has no factory flaws, damage of any type or restoration. BODY: The original kid body is in close to perfect condition. It had a tiny corner opening on a knee as well as a tiny surface hole on the kid leather that covers the bisque portion of an arm. Both were professionally repaired with kid leather patches so the body is in as close to perfect condition as any I’ve seen. Ready for you to dress because she is display perfect.
