This colorful piece has a 14-K gold frame/bezel around an enamel picture of Saint Jude on the front and the words "SAN JUDAS TADEO" on the back. I say "enamel" picture as that is what the label on the piece says. It is a hard material, not painted. The oval piece is a little larger than a penny, slightly over one inch long. It has a wide soldered-closed loop at the top, large enough for normal chains to pass through. It is not possible to give an exact weight of the gold in this piece; you be the judge. I would guess about 2 dwt. It does have a nice border on the bezel, and is not thin and light- it was made long before gold prices went crazy. The very top of the loop is faintly stamped "AR 14 K/FRAME". It is very tiny, very hard to read, and inpossible to photograph.
The piece is clean, and I see very little wear (except to the stamping on the loop). There is no damage of any sort on it.
