This vintage silver horse necklace with six equines in the jumping stance is a striking accent for the neck or the waist . The horse casting is beautifully rendered, the face, mane, tail, hooves and body are detailed and visually pleasing. I've used this as a necklace and as a belt garnering many compliments and resulting in many conversations. Worn as a necklace, the chain end drapes nicely down the back. As a belt, it can be worn at the waist or hip, at a total length of 40 inches it can accommodate a wide range of sizes. This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no issues at all and is quite substantial with nice weight and feel. This was purchased as a belt at Neiman's in the 80s but I draped it around my neck in the store and had to have it. The chain section ends with a lion face dangle and it has lobster clasp closure. Each horse measures 3 inches by 2 inches and the horse section, taken in between the O rings is 23 1/2 inches. I love this so much I also bought it in gold,as shown in the last picture for illustration only, and it's available in my shop. This is one of the nicest belts I've had and it makes an impressive necklace, it's like hitting the daily double.
