This vintage embroidered tablecloth and napkin set in ecru linen with walnut brown, turquoise blue and goldenrod yellow flowers, leaves and scrolls is a most cheerful way to dress your table. The embroidery is beautiful, the flowers are scattered throughout and the top, bottom, sides and corners have delightful floral swags. The needlework looks like it was stitched by hand to me but I am not a seamstress by anyone's definition, even though I did take a Singer Sewing Class when I was 13. The set is in very good vintage condition, there are a 3 light stains on the tablecloth, as pictured, and a few on the napkins. They may wash out with today's advanced cleaning products as this was washed and ironed then stored away for the past few decades. The set is clean and has no odors or other damage and was stored in tissue paper inside a pillowcase inside a chest. The background color is ecru not white, for some reason it photographed lighter than it is even though the pictures were taken in natural light without a flash. The tablecloth measures 88 inches by 56 inches and the square napkins measure 15 inches. This is a pretty set that will add charm and color to your dinner table.
