This vintage pink enamel brooch with faux pearls, red rhinestones and pave diamantes in creamy rhodium plating is gorgeous, graceful and grand. I've puzzled over its shape for ages and haven't yet decided if it is a stylized interpretation of a flower or a feather or a motif that hasn't yet occurred to me. The beauty and balance of the design, the enamel work, plating and components and the substantial feel of the piece all suggest designer quality yet it is an unsigned. Nonetheless, it is a stunning 1940s brooch measuring 3 inches by 3 inches, weighing in at 26.4 grams and it's in wonderful vintage condition. The plating looks great, it's luminous, the red chatons dazzle and the diamantes are all present and original with very few showing showing some age. This pretty will continue to please for many more decades.
