This vintage Trifari bracelet, brooch pendant and earrings set with faux pearls, smoky black diamond rhinestones and diamantes in Trifanium rhodium plated settings is dramatic, dazzling and desirable. The design is wonderful, the black diamond oval, teardrop and chaton rhinestones mimic smoky quartz and have great presence combined with the creamy faux pearls and diamante accents. Each piece is divine and the pictures tell the story much better than I could ever articulate and if pressed to describe in one word I'd use breathtaking. The bracelet, brooch and earrings are in terrific vintage condition with no problems, the rhinestones dazzle, the faux pearls are lustrous and the plating gleams. Two of the pave stones on the bracelet show a bit of age and the back of one pearl dangle has a pinhead size loss of nacre, any perceived marks on the rhodium plated backs are only shadows. The bracelet measures 7 1/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches, and has a safety chain, the pin pendant measures 3 3/4 inches by 2 3/8 inches and the clip earrings measure 1 inch by 3/4 inches and all are signed Trifari. This is one of my all time favorite Trifari designs, Julia Carroll's too, as stated on page 65 of her book Collecting Costume Jewelry 101, and she goes on to say,The design is original, elegant, and memorable., and this pin / pendant is featured on that page and on the back cover. The bracelet and earrings are shown in red on page 195 of Pam Wiggins' excellent Warman's Costume Jewelry and the bracelet alone is valued at $400-$550. This is an outstanding, very rare set of vintage Trifari jewelry, impressive in every way and guaranteed to please.
