This vintage Wedgwood blue jasperware bowl is known as the Sacrifice Bowl and is decorated with the bas-reliefs of classical figures, animals, leafy trees, vines and flowers that is a hallmark of that Wedgwood look. From Wedgwood's Sacrifices of Love series, this bowl was made in England in August, 1976 as indicated by the impressed marks on its base. This piece is in wonderful vintage condition with very slight, age appropriate wear, nothing that distracts, and no chips or cracks. There is a small surface line on the interior that would not photograph. It measures 8 inches in diameter and is 3.75 inches in height. This is a gorgeous bowl, lovely for collection or use and it is very well priced.
