This Juliana bracelet, brooch and earring set is at the top of my hit parade and the light sapphire blue pentagon and round rhinestones and the gloriously refractive aurora borealis chatons head the list. There are many reasons why this ultra rare D&E parure is a fave, the rhinestones are heavenly, the blue is soft yet vibrant and the open back unfoiled pentagons allow a liquid quality to emerge as the color shimmers and shines in proximity to the rainbow of colors exploding from the AB rhinestone florets. The design is flawless and highlights the exquisite components to perfection. The brooch measures 3 inches by 1 3/4 inches, the clip earrings measure 1 1/4 by 1 and both have dangling pentagons and the kinetic energy as they dance with movement is quite dynamic and very compelling. The bracelet measures 7 1/4 inches and has D&E's signature linkage and a safety chain. This set is in excellent vintage condition, both the rhinestones and the silver plating look great. The bracelet, brooch and earrings can be seen in Ann Pitman's Juliana Jewelry book, pages 221 to 223.This design debuted in 1955 and has lost not one iota of its glamour or appeal, quite the contrary, I feel it's more alluring than ever, and perfect for collection or wear.
