This vintage Art Deco rock crystal necklace with graduated quartz beads and fancy sterling silver clasp positively glows. These rock crystal orbs are drilled and although many refer to these rock crystal pieces as Pools of Light, that is a misnomer because these beads are drilled which negates the term. True Pools of Light are undrilled and the beads are usually individually wrapped in, and joined together with wire which is most often sterling silver. These unfaceted crystal do magnify, invert and reverse whatever you look at through them. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, measures 17 inches and has 40 beads measuring 8mm to 14mm. The decorative box clasp is marked Sterling and this style clasp was prevalent in the 1920s -1930s time period. This necklace is the perfect accessory, it will compliment any outfit and is suitable for any occasion.
