This vintage Napier rooster brooch features a rhinestone belly and comb and a flowing multi chain tail, it's delightfully detailed and impressively sized. This darling 1960s, green eyed, barnyard banty has a chubby emerald green oval breast, that rhinestone alone measures 1 inch by three quarter inch, and ruby red navette accents on his comb and wattle. This fun figural's tail is spectacular, 8 individual, draping foxtail chains form his plumage adding a dynamic dimension to the brooch. The body of the brooch measures 3 inches by 1 and one half inches, the tail adds an additional 3 and one half inches and is signed Napier. This piece is featured in The Napier Co. book by Melinda L Lewis and Henry Swen on page 867, value at 150 to 175 dollars. There is nothing foul about this fowl fellow, he is in wonderful vintage condition with ever so slight vintage wear and no issues at all.
