This vintage Trifari necklace, bracelet, brooch, and earring grand parure loaded with diamante rhinestones is featured front and center in Trifari's 1952 Christmas ad The Most Enchanted Gift of All. This superb line is aptly named Promenade, a term defined by the Oxford Dictionary as a leisurely walk, or sometimes a ride or drive, taken in a public place so as to meet or be seen by others. After all, who wouldn't want to be seen in such a stunning suite of jewelry. Plated in silver rhodium Trifanium, the undulating swirled settings host brilliant oval, round, baguette and rare, tapered baguette rhinestones in an exquisite and dazzling, dimensional presentation. The necklace, bracelet, brooch and earrings are in excellent vintage condition with such little wear it's hard to believe this set is 64 years old, the silver plating gleams and the rhinestones twinkle. The necklace measures 16 and one half inches, the bracelet measures 6 and three quarter inches, the brooch measures 2 inches and the earrings measure 1 inch. The pieces are signed Trifari with the crown and Pat. Pend. This set is featured in Julia Carrol's Collecting Costume Jewelry 202, pages 197,198 and 199.This grand parure is as fashionable in 2016 as it was in 1952 and you will be tempted to Promenade.
