This composition Patsy Ann doll has gone all to pieces and needs restoration. She is complete with all necessary pieces – head, torso, both arms, both legs – and is a 17-inch doll. Arms and legs retain metal hooks, with some rust, for stringing. Sleep eyes work. Upper lashes are uneven. She has all of her fingers and toes. Top of head has a crack with lifting, and hair has paint wear and crackling. Neck opening has tighter crack extending up from the back edge approximately 1-inch. Torso has old tape residue and some paint loss. It is properly marked, “Effanbee Patsy-Ann c Pat. 1283558”. Hands have finish wear and paint wear, with almost no paint left on the fingers and thumbs.
As you can see from the photos, Patsy Ann has suffered a complete breakdown but I think she is well worth saving. If you have the time and skill to restore this classic doll I hope that you will bring her home and make her beautiful once again.
