Vintage 1929 printed sewing pattern, complete and in very good condition. Ladies’ & Misses’ Dress, Size 18. Flapper dress with V-neckline, belted below natural waistline. Skirt has single front pleat and two back pleats extending to hem from Chevron shaped lower bodice. View A features a contrast bow-tie collar, long sleeves with diamond-stitched insert gathered to cuffed wrist, v-shaped pockets at hips and self-fabric belt. View B is made up in a print fabric with matching belt and tie neck, eliminating the pockets. View C is made with 2 contrasting fabrics. View D is sleeveless, with contrast bow-tie collar, self-fabric belt and hip pockets as in View A.
This early printed pattern is harder to find, packaged in the smaller size grey envelope dated 1929, with attached full-color illustrated plate on front. Pattern is printed in blue and appears unused, 18 pre-cut pieces complete with instructions in the original envelope. Envelope measures 6-1/2 inches x 5-1/4 inches and is intact with top flap.
