Lovely ladies' dress pattern, uncut, vintage 1939, by the Du Pont Pattern Corporation. All pattern pieces are printed on one large heavy paper sheet – “No more fly away tissues. Just lay the pattern sheet on your fabric and cut out your garment.”
Feminine and stylish ladies’ dress has draped collar, set-in sleeves (either long or elbow-length), fitted waist, gently flared skirt with front pleat, ruching on bodice accented with bows, and self fabric belt with back bow. A slimming style giving a long line to the figure, while allowing ease of movement for the busy woman. A crisp military style dress to complement every figure type.
Size 16 – 18 – 20, may be cut for any one of these sizes. Corresponding body measurements are:
Size 16 – bust 34”, waist 28”, hips 37” Size 18 – bust 36”, waist 30”, hips 39” Size 20 – bust 38”, waist 32”, hips 41”
